We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager to join our NZ Fibre Packaging sales team. As a leader in innovative corrugated packaging solutions, we partner with a diverse range of industries to deliver smart, sustainable outcomes.
As an Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of an established customer portfolio. You’ll play a key role in strengthening relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that add real value to your customers’ businesses. In addition, there will also be an opportinity for new business development.
This is a highly autonomous position, ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, building strong face-to-face connections with customers. When you’re not visiting clients, your base will be our Auckland site, providing a supportive hub for collaboration and planning.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Developing productive relationships with your customers and focus on growing sales and building margins by increasing share of wallet or value engineering
- Seeking out opportunities to develop new business opportunities
- Being technically minded and wanting to learn about our product and the way it’s manufactured
- Having the ability to work with customers at any level within an organisation
- Developing and delivering customer solutions

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Demonstrated account management experience where you have grown share of wallet with an existing customer portfolio
- Established track record of hunting and closing new business, building relationships and business with new customers
- B2B solution selling experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and customer projects concurrently
- Resilience, plenty of energy and lots of enthusiasm
