We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager to join our NZ Fibre Packaging sales team. This role will manage a portfolio of existing customers around Auckland with a focus on account growth. In addition to this there will also be a new business development expectation.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Developing productive relationships with your customers and focus on growing sales and building margins by increasing share of wallet or value engineering
• Seeking out opportunities to develop new business opportunities
• Being technically minded and wanting to learn about our product and the way it’s manufactured
• Having the ability to work with customers at any level within an organisation
• Developing and delivering customer solutions

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Demonstrated account management experience where you have grown share of wallet with an existing customer portfolio
• Established track record of hunting and closing new business, building relationships and business with new customers
• B2B solution selling experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and customer projects concurrently
• Resilience, plenty of energy and lots of enthusiasm
