Opal Fibre Packaging works closely with customers to deliver a comprehensive range of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, including corrugated boxes, folding cartons, bags and sacks, point-of-purchase displays, and industrial packaging products.
We are currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven NSW State Sales Manager to lead and develop our NSW sales function. Reporting to the Group GM Packaging Sales, this pivotal leadership role will focus on building a high-performing, customer-centric sales culture while driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and exceptional customer outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales leader who is passionate about developing people, strengthening customer relationships, and creating long-term commercial success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a newly formed NSW sales team to create a high-performance and accountable culture
- Driving proactive sales behaviours including pipeline development, opportunity identification, cross-selling, and customer engagement
- Developing and executing a state-based sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities while growing revenue across existing customer portfolios
- Strengthening client retention through regular communication, strategic relationship management, and proactive issue resolution
- Partnering closely with operational and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes

You will also possess:
- Proven sales leadership experience, ideally within packaging, manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments
- Demonstrated success in driving new business growth and developing strategic customer relationships
- Strong coaching and leadership capability, with experience building engaged and high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing sales performance, forecasting, pipeline development, and customer engagement metrics
- A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
