An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Customer and Sales Support Officer to join our Opal Specialty Packing team in a full-time, permanent role based at Orchard Hills, Western Sydney.

 

The core of this role will be to ensure all customers’ needs are met while performing a small portion of estimating and data entry.  This will include managing inbound calls, emails, communicating with customers regarding their enquires and orders and working with the estimating team to build quotes.

 

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

 

 

 

  • Track order status of job while managing inbound emails and distribute internally

  • Work with planning and operations to support any urgent jobs needed by customers.

  • Communicate to customers on or prior to due date if any jobs are running late.

  • Liaising with customers relating to process enquiries, orders, price variances and queries.

  • Co-ordinate artwork and design requests

  • Job tracking, liaison with internal suppliers (Fibre, Packaging Plus)

  • Work with estimating to learn how quotes are built and uploaded into the system.

  • Learn how design, board grades and converting steps all influence costs.

  • Proven experience in a customer service function
