We have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Purchasing & Payments Officer to join the team

at our B9 Botany Paper Mill.

The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and cost-effective purchasing of required materials and services for the Botany Mill site & maintenance staff.

This will include:

• Processing of purchase orders & expediting critical purchases
• Developing site financial reporting processes and managing the invoice payment process
• Managing SAP master data, site vendor records and material data
• Troubleshooting and resolving purchasing related system issues
• Developing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships
• Developing continuous improvement projects, including streamlining processes and systems
• Performing market and vendor research for supplier selection including RFx processes and analysis

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have -

• Well-developed experience working with SAP in purchasing, payables and master data
• Experience negotiating with suppliers
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
