With the ongoing development of B9 at Botany, there is a strong pipeline of initiatives that require dedicated project management to see them through to completion, with a high level of emphasis on safety/compliance, efficiency, and profitability.


You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Working closely with the site groups to scope and develop project plans

  • Setting and managing the project budget

  • Identifying project risks and implement mitigation plans

  • Coordinating all activities and work for the initiatives link to project. Coordinate contractors, manage work teams, liaise with external project managers, etc

  • Provision of relevant project management methodologies and advice

  • Completion of projects on time, on budget and according to scope

  • Assist with task planning, isolations, etc where required for job completion

  • Transfer of project delivery skills to the business

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;


  • Engineering Degree (flexible on discipline)

  • Solid Electrical engineering understanding

  • Broader Mechanical & Process engineering fundamentals highly regarded
    Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment. Preferably heavy industry

  • Paper industry background highly regarded, but not necessary

  • Project Engineering Experience

  • Track record of successful project implementation
