Based out of our Botany site, the New Business Manager is a Senior role within the Opal Cartons business and will be given Management support to thrive in this newly created position as we drive forward with growing sales and margin. We are looking for a career focused, ambitious individual who is hungry to win and progress.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Lead and drive growth in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) markets, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) markets, and explore new opportunities in solid board and micro flute markets.
• Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to penetrate new markets, enhance market share, and increase revenue streams.
• Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Fostering a customer-centric approach and ensuring exceptional customer service, the Business Manager will help solidify Opal Cartons Australia's reputation as a trusted partner in the packaging industry.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, and market expansion in the packaging or related industry.
• Strong understanding of FMCG and QSR markets.
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders is essential, as is the capacity to lead and mentor a high performing sales and business development team.
• This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the packaging industry's dynamics and a proven track record of driving business growth.
