The Opal Cartons business in Australia is seeking a Demand & Supply Planning Manager based at the Banksmeadow, NSW site.

In this role you will lead a small team managing all areas of demand and supply planning for Opal Cartons, which will deliver the targeted customer service level (Delivery In Full On Time) within the agreed inventory targets for both finished goods and raw materials by:
•    Creating and communicating a compelling demand & supply planning vision, relevant objectives & priorities for the businesses
•    Championing S&OP alignment (potentially IBP) for the business, providing transparency on demand requirements and ensuring supply outcome  
•    Transforming industry, market and business trends in demand trends, focusing supply sourcing needs on both the long & short term, including problem solving complex supply issues
•    Establishing cross functional activities with all production sites & work teams for production capacity and resource planning 
•    Developing, supporting, coaching and empowering your team members
•    Driving continuous improvement in demand & supply planning operations by use of KPIs & other measures to achieve flawless execution & cost savings

This is a critical role for our Cartons Supply Chain team, and the successful candidate will compliment us by bringing:

•    Extensive supply and demand planning experience, particularly in a manufacturing / FMCG environment
•    Working knowledge of SAP APO and experience working with PowerBI
•    Sound knowledge in project management and delivery outcome
•    Demonstrated understanding of statistical demand forecasting methods 
•    A continuous process improvement mindset, ideally with knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
•    Strong reporting skills, time management skills & ability to work to strict deadlines
