We are looking for a Training Delivery Lead to join the Opal business at our Maryvale paper mill. The main focus of this role will be to manage our training and assessment portfolio, ensuring that we comply with appropriate regulatory compliance, and maximise the benefits of this program for our workforce.

This role will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the site meets its compliance obligations with respect to mandatory training requirements
• Designing and developing training and assessment materials for operational training and assessment of manufacturing team members
• Administering and maintaining training and assessment records for the Maryvale mill
• Maintaining our training database
• Delivering and assessing training as required
• Ensuring the site meets its compliance obligations with respect to mandatory training requirements

Most likely you are someone who loves being a part of a business that makes something, and working closely with the people that make it.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Experience working in a training role within the manufacturing industry
• The ability to manage a small team
• Experience facilitating both face to face training as well as online sessions
• Preferably some experience with training or LMS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or VETtrak
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
