We have an exciting new role available to join our Opal Fibre Packaging business in Barnawartha as a Territory Manager.

 

Opal Fibre Packaging Australia supplies a wide range of innovative corrugated packaging solutions to a broad range of market segments that includes FMCG, fruit and produce, protein, dairy, dry goods, wine, beverage, and industrial manufacturers.

 

This role is a customer facing role managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts as well as focusing on new business development.

 

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Developing and managing strategic individual accounts, building a strong rapport with a variety of different stakeholders within the customer
  • Generating leads to explore new customer business opportunities
  • Understanding critical customer needs and developing and implementing individual client value propositions (e.g. pricing, flexibility, service, uniqueness of product)
  • Working cross-functionally within the business and co-ordinating technical support, value engineering, quotes, and samples to ensure customers’ expectations are managed

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

  • Sales experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment). Alternatively previous experience within FMCG or Fresh Produce would be advantageous
  • Well-developed sales hunter experience with a good track record of bringing in new business opportunities
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • A proven track record of delivering results and ensuring key objectives are met
  • A collaborative approach which will foster strong working relationships across internal teams to deliver the best result for the customer
