The Reliability Technician will be part of a team based at our Maryvale Mill accountable for performing condition monitoring activities aimed at maintaining and improving plant reliability. The Reliability Technician is a key position requiring direct interface with personnel from Production, Maintenance, Capital Projects, Engineering Services and Contractors. The specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

•    Performing data collection and analysis as a means of diagnosing machine condition.
•    Supporting the implementation of an effective Condition Monitoring Program.
•    Ensuring compliance to all statutory requirements related to the assets and the performance of maintenance.
•    Undertaking specific assigned studies or projects aimed at improving Plant Reliability.
•    Participating in Root cause analysis and rectification to enhance reliability.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and will be a team player who has knowledge of plant mechanics, monitoring practices and preventative maintenance. They will be able to examine complex information and make appropriate recommendations based on that analysis and have a proven ability to deliver superior value-added service to customers. The successful applicant will have a relevant Trade certificate or tertiary engineering qualification. Relevant experience in Condition Monitoring is desirable.
