Regional Sales Manager is accountable for delivering targeted revenue and gross margin across the specified region. Identify new opportunities and value streams to drive growth. The role is critical in maximising internal resources and cross functionally to deliver on customer expectations and growth target.

 

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

 

  • Responsible and accountable for Regional growth, pipeline and market intel.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts with focus on market share growth within regio
  • Will support the interface between Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service and the Customer.
  • Approve proposals and contract terms for Customers (within business rules)
  • Set goals and track progress using set KPIs.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and decision-makers within Opal and Customer operations.
  • Call on customer’s sites on agreed cycle to establish and maintain relations and understand their needs to ensure an Opal solution is meeting their requirements and assist where possible to continuously improve customer service, value engineering, margin improvement and Share of Wallet (SOW) opportunities.
  • Look for every opportunity for Cross Divisional Selling, adjacent products and non corrugated offerings manufactured by Opal.

  • A proven ability to effectively communicate and gain credibility at all levels
  • Ability to build relationships (internal and external)
  • Influencing skills
  • Able to build matrix of decision-makers across the whole of the customer’s business
  • Experience in managing or leading a sales team
