As part of the Nippon Paper Group, Opal is one of Australasia’s leading packaging and paper companies.
We manufacture goods that you see, touch and use every day and our customer base includes some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail and Fresh Produce.
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for strategically important accounts within Opal, driving value by providing a centralised approach to account management, account optimisation and customer interactions. This role will be based at Bundaberg.
The key focus of this role will be to:

Develop customer plan for the assigned territory, identifying and sizing all major customers, contacts and competitor accounts, to prioritise efforts and determine contact frequency

Ensure Opal is delivering best in class customer service and operations management through continual engagement with state-based customer service teams and operations managers

Continually identifying and negotiating new business opportunities and aggressively pursuing profit targets

Maintaining strong customer realationships
- Identify and grow sales target market areas with quality custotmers

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

Sales experience (preferably in an agricultural or manufacturing environment)

Experience in negotiating contracts

The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels internally and externally from the business

Demonstrated understanding of sales methodologies provided through online and face to face sales training

Ability to create customer plans for current territory, identifying and sizing all major customers and competitor accounts
