We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Regional Territory Manager to join our high-performing team in Cairns. If you’re a natural relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for creating value, this role is your chance to shine.

 

This is a customer-facing role with a strong focus on account management and new business development. You’ll be trusted to manage a portfolio of key customers while actively seeking out new opportunities to grow the business across the region.

 

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

  • Grow strategic accounts by building trusted, long-term relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritise new leads, aligning opportunities with Opal’s strengths and customer needs.
  • Create tailored value propositions for each client — whether it's unique product features, pricing flexibility, or enhanced service models.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver quotes, samples, and technical support that ensure customer expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
  • Be a trusted advisor, uncovering growth potential and bringing fresh ideas to life for your customers.

We're seeking an energetic, results-driven professional who is passionate about sales and thrives in a changing, collaborative environment.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • A successful track record as a sales hunter — someone who can confidently identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
  • Experience in the fibre packaging or distribution industries (advantageous but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work across teams and foster strong internal partnerships
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer value and business growth
