Opal is currently seeking a Logistics and Supply Planning Manager to lead and direct operational excellence of our integrated supply chain activities across Western Australia. You will drive efficiency improvements and innovation to enhance customer delivery performance and our market position.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Oversee all aspects of planning and scheduling for the Spearwood site to achieve delivery and responsiveness targets.
  • Achieve DIFOT targets and continually look for opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the warehouse & distribution team.
  • Effective control of Raw Materials, Finished Goods, WIP and Quarantined stock.
  • Plan, manage and ensure transport requirements are in place and meet daily requirements.
  • Oversee the paper ordering process and stocking levels for OFP WA and strive for optimal paper holdings to achieve lowest cost of production without compromising supply.

  • Formal qualifications at the diploma level or higher in supply chain, warehouse, business, or commercial management are desirable with 5 -years’ experience in an operational environment.
  • Sound knowledge of SNOP process
  • Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Proactive with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
