The position of Sales Support Specialist sits within the Opal Packaging Plus division, a fast paced business that supplies a vast range of packaging consumable products to a large and diverse customer base across Australia.   You will support a sales team of approximately 70 Account Managers & Territory Managers in ensuring our sales processes and CRM (Salesforce) practices are embedded and optimised in order to facilitate sales growth and to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.


This will include;


  • Identifying & implementing improvements on existing Salesforce system & practices
  • Development and delivery of Salesforce training for all sales staff and embedding a positive Salesforce experience into the culture of the business
  • Building and modifying dashboards and automated reports to support decision making
  • Championing and training all users on Qlikview/Qliksense software for customer and SKU analysis/review
  • Undertaking market research and competitor analysis to support sales strategy development, pricing evaluation and new product initiatives
  • Coordinating our response to national tenders and providing analytical support to the tender process.

  • Tertiary qualifications with a degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent analytical and data analysis/mapping experience between ERP, CRM & online channels
  • Strong Salesforce experience as well as experience with Value Plus/Sales Excellence programs
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
