We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join the Opal Australian Paper business at the Maryvale paper mill. 

Working as part of a team of process engineers, the main focus of this role will be to provide process and quality technical support to the manufacturing operation and identify and implement process and quality improvements. 

This role will be responsible for:
•    Daily monitoring and management of chemicals
•    Investigating, assessing and resolving any quality issues 
•    Maintaining quality management systems
•    Working with the team to implement process improvements

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team, making a meaningful contribution to the safe and effective running of our maintenance planning works. 

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
•    A bachelors degree in chemical engineering preferred
•    Experience working in a process engineering role within manufacturing or heavy industry
•    Demonstrated experience building productive working relationships cross functionally
•    A bias towards action, be self-motivated and driven to get things done
•    Any experience in the pulp and paper industry would be beneficial
