Discover the Opportunity Materials Replenishment Planner

Reporting to the National Supply Planning & S&OP Manager for Opal Cartons Packaging, you will manage the end to end replenishment of raw materials & traded products operations across Cartons AU; Key tasks being, planning purchases, shipping related activities, supplier management & inventory reporting.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Review customer forecasts and prepare ordering plan for raw materials & traded products nationally.
  • Create purchase orders in SAP to support ongoing supply.
  • Monitor incoming shipments and maintain up to date purchasing information in SAP.
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure shipments orders are shipped promptly.
  • Liaise with internal accounts teams to ensure supplier invoices are paid in full and on time.
  • Maintain sufficient stock holdings to support our supply obligations.
  • Support the implementation supply chain optimisation initiatives.

  • Knowledge and operational experience in / exposure to different supply chain areas and functions: i/e shipping, procurement, warehouse and logistics, costing, demand and supply planning and customer service.
  • Analytical mind with strong business acumen, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in dealing / working with 3rd party services.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • A proven track record of attention to detail, delivering safety, quality and continuous improvement processes.
