We have an exciting new opportunity available to join the Opal Cartons Australia business as a Key Account Manager based at our Heidelberg, VIC site.

 

Opal Cartons Australia works closely with customers to produce innovative folding carton packaging servicing various markets including FMCG, dry grocery products, personal & home care, convenience food, dairy and frozen food. The division’s carton product portfolio includes quick service restaurant (QSR) cartons, carton sleeves, carry packs, facial tissue cartons, confectionery cartons, general retail folding cartons, and cartons for technology gadgets and medical products.

 

The customers in your portfolio will be mainly VIC based, but some in SA which will require periodic travel interstate.

 

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Developing a productive working relationship with your key account customers and an in-depth knowledge of their businesses and both short and long-term needs
  • Identifying New Product Development (NPD) opportunities within your accounts
  • Improving gross margin through value engineering
  • Building a strong brand equity through innovation, sustainability and supply focus

  • Ideally experience in packaging or related industry
  • Ability to take ownership and drive customer outcomes

  • Well-developed influencing, negotiation, change management and conflict resolution skills
