Based at our offices in Oakleigh, the Finance Analyst will responsible for supporting the Commercial Team on a range of analytical, reporting, compliance and business advisory matters.  

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Support business decision making through the provision of value-added data analysis of sales, margin, and expenses.
• Support the timely provision of monthly and annual operating financial results and statistics, and the forecasts against budget and objectives.
• Support the timely and accurate financials for the sites, including accuracy and completeness of the General Ledger, Reconciliations, Intercompany Accounting, Standing Journals and KPI reporting.
• Ensure there are vigorous controls around pricing changes, both adhoc and annual for contracted and non-contracted customers.
• Assist business where required with Vendor setup and purchase orders and Winmagi support when required.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Recognised tertiary qualification in a commercial stream ( Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business) and can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning and personal development.
• Postgraduate qualification of either CPA or ACCA, or currently pursuing such qualification. 
• Experience in SAP or any other ERP system in particular Winmagi
• High attention to detail, excellent time management and result driven.
