We have an exciting opportunity to join the OpalANZ recycling team as our Altona site is looking for a new Customer Service Officer!

 

The key focus of this role will be to:

  • Providing high quality service to customers and suppliers via email and phone calls
  • Work closely with customers to develop & deliver solutions
  • To administer new customer set up and changes to databases and service schedules
  • Coordination of transport movements to our Maryvale Mill and managing of stock levels in cooperation with the Maryvale Mill and transport companies
  • Assisting with the monthly stocktake at our Altona depot
  • Actioning maintenance request with the relevant maintenance provider
  • Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables invoices/queries, ensuring customers are invoiced correctly
  • Administering all export/ domestic sale processes

This role is a great opportunity to kick-start or continue your career in the customer service and/ or roles in operations/ logistics planning. For this role we would ideally like you to have:

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, with a customer focussed mindset
  • Excellent phone skills, especially in busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing demands and to manage deadlines.
  • Computer literacy skills and experience in using Excel (intermediate Excel skills would be viewed favourably) 
  • Previous Sales Force/ Lightening experience is desirable
