We have a new 12-month fixed term contract role available to join the Accounts Receivable Team as part of our Business Solutions Centre based at Burnley, VIC.

You will play a vital role in supporting our Credit Officers and Management and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Accurate processing of incoming customer payments
• Proactively contacting customers to facilitate payment of invoices due
• Reconciliation of debtors’ ledgers
• Identify and research unapplied cash
• Management of shared email inboxes
• Resolving accounts queries with a ‘customer service’ mindset

• Proven experience in similar Accounts Receivable role
• Able to multi-task and enjoy a variety of responsibilities each day
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Good problem-solving skills: acting as a self-starter, analysing an issue and its potential impact, bringing a range of options and recommended solutions to achieve optimal outcomes
