We have a new 12-month fixed term contract role available to join the Accounts Receivable Team as part of our Business Solutions Centre based at Burnley, VIC.
You will play a vital role in supporting our Credit Officers and Management and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Accurate processing of incoming customer payments
- Proactively contacting customers to facilitate payment of invoices due
- Reconciliation of debtors’ ledgers
- Identify and research unapplied cash
- Management of shared email inboxes
- Resolving accounts queries with a ‘customer service’ mindset

- Proven experience in similar Accounts Receivable role
- Able to multi-task and enjoy a variety of responsibilities each day
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Good problem-solving skills: acting as a self-starter, analysing an issue and its potential impact, bringing a range of options and recommended solutions to achieve optimal outcomes
