We are currently embarking on some exciting integration activities in order to deliver a best-in-class centralised supply chain and procurement function to support our six operating divisions.    In building our Centre of Excellence capability we are now looking to appoint a Compliance Manager to ‘own’ our Supply Chain Quality framework and lead our activities and position on all things quality and compliance, both legislative and aligned to our value of Extraordinary;  #going above and beyond.    In this key role, you will be responsible for;


  • Leading compliance activity across the Supply Chain and Procurement domain
  • Managing the Supply Chain Quality framework across the enterprise
  • Partnering with Business Unit Quality & Food Safety Teams to improve quality and food safety standards, work practices and visibility of quality across the Opal network
  • Designing and implementing Supplier assurance processes
  • Managing our Quality Audit program in conjunction with our outsourced vendor
  • Leading the implementation of appropriate controls and reporting related to the Modern Slavery Act and other compliance initiatives
  • Working cross functionally with site teams, Procurement & Sustainability to drive compliance across all areas impacting Supply Chain and Procurement

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced & passionate Compliance/Quality Manager with extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain to contribute in a meaningful way with one of Australia’s largest manufacturers.  We expect you will have;


  • At least 10 years’ experience managing compliance/quality frameworks in a Supply Chain setting.
  • Sound understanding and experience with Quality & Food Safety regulations and requirements
  • Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • A strong project management capability
  • Ability to apply a pragmatic lens to complex compliance requirements
  • Degree qualifications in a relevant field
