We have a new opportunity available for a true new business sales hunter to join our Opal Packaging Plus (OPP) VIC sales team. The OPP VIC business is based at Truganina, but this role will have a Victoria state-wide territory and you would only be required to be at the Truganina site once a week for sales meetings.

 

Our OPP business is a leading industrial packaging consumables solutions provider in the Australian packaging and distribution market. We can offer the opportunity to be part of a financially stable, growing business that’s an essential service, well established and can provide career growth for the future.

 

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

 

  • Generating sales leads, prospecting, developing and closing new business opportunities
  • Nurturing and growing newly won accounts you’ve brought in for the first 12 months, before handing over to an account manager
  • Developing and delivering customer solutions, focusing on a solution selling approach

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

 

  • An established track record of developing and winning new business, building relationships and business with new customers
  • Resilience, persistence and plenty of energy and passion
  • Previous experience in a business development role in a competitive market
  • Prior experience selling business consumables, industrial products and services, a technical sales background or experience in trade sales
  • CRM experience, ideally good working knowledge of Salesforce
