Our Opal Cartons business in New Zealand is looking for a technical expert to step into the role of Demand & Supply Planning Manager. Based at our Manukau manufacturing site in Auckland, this role will help us redefine how we deliver effective and efficient demand and supply planning across our two NZ sites.

Managing our despatch and warehouse team as well as a demand and supply analyst, you will lead the S&OP process and provide the technical leadership required to:

• Introduce robust inventory policies and capacity modelling to move the business toward long-term strategic planning
• Eliminate waste and synchronise supply with demand to ensure our NZ Cartons business operates at peak efficiency
• Take full accountability for reducing working capital and meeting strict inventory targets through optimal reorder point and safety stock settings

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes supply chain fundamentals and has the ability and desire to drive significant process improvement. You will complement our team by bringing:

• Extensive experience in Demand and Supply Planning within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Proven success in building or maturing S&OP processes, specifically around inventory policy and capacity planning
• A strong grasp of statistical demand forecasting and the ability to translate complex data into actionable production plans
• The ability to mentor staff, professionalise the planning function, and move the team away from manual spreadsheet management
• A continuous improvement mindset focused on waste elimination and process efficiency
