We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Opal Fibre Packaging sales team as a sales territory manager.

 

Working within the fibre corrugated packaging space, the primary focus of our Territory Managers is to drive sales growth through the introduction of new customers and by creating ongoing value to your existing customer portfolio. We strongly believe that we produce more than just a box; we provide a critical element to the protection, storage, logistics, promotion and reputation of our customers products.

 

The primary focus of our Territory Managers is to drive sales growth through the introduction of new customers and by creating ongoing value to your existing customer portfolio. Your week would typically be 3 days on the road with customers and 2 days in the office, therefore we are looking for a professional & energetic salesperson who has can work independently and remain dedicated to our professional customer centric culture.

 

The success of our Territory Managers will be measured by;

 

  • Ability to proactively explore and develop new packaging solutions opportunities across small to medium sized local businesses across varied industries
  • Continuously developing value opportunities that will support our growth strategy
  • Maintaining and growing sales / gross margin within the existing customer portfolio
  • Actively promoting and driving our customer excellence culture within the local market
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships both with your internal peers and within the marketspace
  • Developing your technical product knowledge and applying this to negotiating customer solutions
  • Maintaining a focussed and dedicated approach while spending a large part of your week in the marketspace.

  • Previous experience of identifying and converting new business through the building relationships and identifying value sharing opportunities
  • A strong Customer Centric approach
  • B2B solution selling experience; adaptable across varied markets
  • Resilience, plenty of energy and lots of enthusiasm
  • Professional and ability to remain dedicated to our team goals
  • Strong commercial acumen and good negotiation skills
