We have a new opportunity available to support Opal Fibre Packaging’s (OFP) sales team, based at our site in Athol Park. This role will support the operations team to reduce the number of NCR's through the implementation of cost effective manufacturing solutions.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Raise quotes, ensuring price alignment where required. Quote conversion and quote follow-up.
- Sample ordering, customer sizing, Batch 1 approvals.
- Materialise quotes, generate artworks, artwork revisions and tooling quotes.
- Batch 1 set ups – facilitate relevant sign offs and tooling POs (dies and stereos)
- SAP Master data updates for new customers – Customer on-boarding and/or changes
- Maintain Dynamics 365 with relevant information.
- Provide a level of support to sales that helps them maximise time in front of customer e.g. onboarding, new work process, quoting, artwork etc.
- Support operations teams to reduce NCR cost and frequency.
- Work with site based operational team to understand existing quality issues and identify root cause and sustainable corrective actions.

Specifically, for this role, we expect you will have;
- Experience in a sales support, commercial coordination or customer service role.
- Experience in manufacturing or packaging industry advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM (preferably Dynamics 365) and/or SAP
- Understanding or experience in support of Quality systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable working across functions and with diverse stakeholders.
